About this site
khonkaenlawyers.com is an independent educational publication about legal matters in Khon Kaen province. We are not a law firm, we do not take clients, and nothing here is legal advice.
How we write
- Guides describe the general shape of Thai law and local practice; details change and cases differ.
- We do not list or recommend specific law firms, and we deliberately avoid publishing office addresses and phone numbers that go stale — official websites are always the source of truth.
- Sources: the Civil and Commercial Code and related acts, the Courts of Justice (coj.go.th), the Lawyers Council of Thailand, and the relevant ministries.
What this site is not
We are not a directory, a referral service, or a substitute for advice on your specific facts. Where a rule involves a number that changes over time — an interest cap, a filing threshold, a minimum wage, a tax rate — we describe the structure of the rule and flag that the current figure should be confirmed with a licensed Thai lawyer or the relevant office, rather than quoting a number that may already be out of date by the time you read it.
Editorial standards
Every guide is written to be accurate about the general shape of Thai law rather than to sound authoritative about specifics we cannot verify for your case. We do not fabricate statistics, court outcomes or citations, and we do not invent named firms, lawyers or offices anywhere on this site.
The network
This site is part of an Isaan legal-guide network: our companion site Anglo Siam Law (in-depth Thai law guides) plus provincial guides for Khon Kaen, Udon Thani, Ubon Ratchathani, Korat, Roi Et and Buriram.
